Guide for Goods Vehicle Operators - (GV 74)

GV 74 is probably one of the most definitive guides available from VOSA. It covers virtually all of the information you'll require to complete the many forms relating to operator licensing, including offering answers to the many standard questions that most new or prospective operators will likely ask.

Safe Operators Guide

The Safe Operators Guide

Whether you're a new operator or long time established, this guide (recently revised) is a must have point of reference for any TM in this industry worth his salt. The guide was a collaboration between the enforcement agencies and the representative bodies that play a major role within the industry. It is without doubt a great achievement and an indication that the industry can work together in the best interests of all.

Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness

Guide To Maintaining Roadworthiness

This guide is both useful to Operators and Drivers alike, as it's content emphasis is placed upon both. The guide explains the requirements of procedures, systems and general principles for those who operate or drive goods vehicles or PSV's. For those who are experienced operators, this guide offers itself as a benchmark for best practice; for those who are new to the industry, this guide will undoubtedly offer guidance and advice for putting in place those systems necessary in ensuring your full compliance with the law, and ultimately a safe and compliant fleet.

Guide To Maintenance Systems

Guide To Maintenance Systems

This guide is the ultimate 'how-to' package regarding the roadworthiness of vehicles operated, it demonstrates whether or not the systems in place are robust and fit for purpose. Operators as well as drivers are responsible for the condition of their vehicles and therefore they need to satisfy themselves that any systems/devices used do not compromise the running of a safe and efficient fleet.

Other downloadable forms and Guides on the VOSA Website

There are many other forms available online of which the above are a selection of the ones that most operators require. To assist in bringing you as much information as possible, the under mentioned links will enable you to find other forms not available here.
